In short: A well-organised race with encouraging friendly marshals
In full: As usual this race was well organised and the marshals were encourging and friendly as were many of the casual spectators. As with all races more loos and one more water station would both be welcome. An excellent sharpener before the London.

In short: Great run, excellent organisation, supportive marshals & band!
In full: As usual this was a very well organised race, especially since the course had to be re-organised the night before. Marshals were plentiful and encouraging and police presence at critical points lessened any dangers from traffic. Excellent goodie bag and I liked the band.

In short: Challenging rather than undulating, but a good race
In full: Well organised and new start makes parking easier than last year. More loos at the start are needed. Marshals friendly and encouraging.

In short: People should try to understand the problems facing a race organiser instead of criticising hiim
In full: I too was diappointed that the race had to be cancelled but gritting the roads and pavements is not he responsibility of the race organiser who has to trust that the local council would do what is necessary. The race has been a year in planning with a lot of time given up by volunteers who were even more disappointed that us the would-be runners.
A raod accident is unpredictable and one of the risks inherent in a race of this type at this time of year. Instead of carping let's understand the position of the organiser and his team of volunteers and encourage them towards a better race next year.
To everyone who is inclined to be critical I say try and organise a distance race yourself and face the organisational problems that have to be overcome. Let's get away from the blame culture and be positive. Cancelling the race was the right deciion in terms of safety.

In short: Numerous and enthusiastic marshals.
In full: Organisation was OK but too few toilets, especiually compared to Nottingham a few weeks ago. Reasonable course, no hills until the last half mile and then a gentle climb. T-shirt, water and medal at end.

In short: Well organised with numerous friendly and encouraging marshals
In full: occasional undulations, nice scenery and very well marshalled and organised. Some runners found the hot conditions beyond them and St. John's Ambulance demonstrated their worth, giving oxygen for sufferers before paramedics arrived.

In short: lots of friendly encouraging marshals and a lovely memento
In full: The prom had been swept but the high tide and wind brought the pebbles back. Lots of marshals all encouraging and friendly. Ther ewere loos at the community centre and the caretaker opened up two more when she saw the queue. Carslberg don't do mementos but if they did then this would be it: a lovely glass paperweight.

In short: Great organisation with friendly encouraging marshals
In full: 4 laps means that you can pace yourself. No real hills; water stations and clubhouise with showers at the end. Great classic race. Part of the course, from 2-3 miles formed the route of the 1908 Olympic Marathon that set the distance at 26 miles 385 yards.

In short: Challenging course, too few toilets and parking a problem
In full: 6 toilets for 500 runners is a joke. This was caused by the inhospitable Pfizer company not allowing people to use the toilets, there were no proper changing facilities, praking was a predictable problem that should have been sorted out beforehand.

In short: Crowded start, glorious scenery, well organised with friendly marshals
In full: What hills? Two inclines and a few undulations. In mild weather this was a joy to run but in heavy rain it would be a nightmare with no protection. Well organised but too few toilets at the start and none on the course. No sponge stations either.
