In short: 2009 race - Well organiesed, good route and a fun day for all
In full: Four circuits of the hackney marshes. Lovely weather, flat varied surface, nice scenery (fields, trees and the rive Lee). Well marsheled, lots of water and nice goodies at the end. Was a brillant race for both the runner and spectators

In short: The worse organised race I have ever done
In full: The worse organised race I have ever done! No chance to build up a steady pace and rythm as you had to keep stopping and queueing to pass through country style swing gates. The finish was at a stadium and there was no directions indicating if you should run a lap or if the race was finish, which resulted in confusion. No water given out during the race and even the t-shirt at the end was a joke, no mention of the race just a nasty advert for Honda.

In short: Race not suitable for the numbers
In full: Race very cramped and tiring. We ran along narrow paths that made overtaking difficult and with hill after hill, it was not a race for setting a pb.

In short: The extras make the difference
In full: A very well organised race in memory of one legged Terry Fox. What made this race stand out was the free food & drink, a post race massage and unusually enthusiastic organisers and volunteers who cheered every finisher and whose exuberance made this one of the best races I have ever done.
