In short: An amazing roller coaster ride of extreme emotions.
In full: A hard and punishing run up, but an absolute roller coaster ride, adrenalin junkie, 'flying by the seat of your pants', run coming down.

This is the type of race 'us' road runners need to experience. It can be hard (very), scary at times (yes), but the 'rush' on the way down sprinting hell for leather, whilst searching for every step is amazing.

In short: Yes it's worth it.
In full: When you are trying to make time up, on the way down, it tests your lactic threshhold pace.
Please, on hill races, a course profile in my view, is as essential as the course map.

In short: Mile markers? You maybe lucky
In full: Did the full. Really needs to start earlier, (1st off, before 10k and half)

How do you run a race without mile markers? I know they went missing. How about spray paint on the roads or grass, any d*** where. The last marker I saw was at 22!!, after that nothing. Which, from then on in, it starts to get tough, but without markers??!!

Flat? mmmmm , about 95% dont be fooled.

Those wind turbines are there for a reason. They are not a garden feature! I forever seemed to be running into the wind.
