In short: Nice settings
In full: First two km very boring as you have to weave around the school's enormous playing fields (quite a few corner cutters I noticed!) but once on the road it all becomes quite pleasant. Hot day and they had 2 water points which was very welcome.

Goody bag was a joke but the bananas supplied by Fruit for the Office were a welcome touch.

In short: Who chose that hill?
In full: Never done this one before. As I stood around looking to see where the course would exit the park and made the assumption that the gentle slope opposite from the road was where we would go - no worries I thought. Wrong! We were lined up next to where the entrance to the park is and off we went . . not straight on but sharp left up what by the time I reached half way felt like K2! That was a cruel trick whoever planned that!

Wonderful countryside to run in - well marshalled. Only let down was there was no goody bag at all. I will do this again this time better prepared!

In short: Well Run Run
In full: Someone warned me this was a pretty boring course - and it is. What made it worthwhile was the slick organising and excellent marshalling. For that I will do this again. Lovely medal also.

In short: Thank goodness this one's around at this time of year . .
In full: . . entered this one for the 4th time and enjoying it - I'm one of the tail-end-Charlies of which thankfully there are plenty. Good marshalling as always and a fairly decent area to trot through. Well organised and worth coming to. See you next year.

In short: Worth the journey
In full: I'd had a pint of Hook Norton some time back and it was a cracking pint - I saw this trot being run at the home of that fine ale and thought "why not?" - so I booked it and drove 79 miles to get there and was very glad I did: well organised, well attended, lovely countryside to run in and very well marshalled.

In short: Nothing major sticks out
In full: Three small circuits make this a bit tedious - can't the organisers make more use of the Luton Hoo estate? At least use more of that long straight to reduce it to 2 instead of 3 loops? Naff medal and no goody bag.

In short: Brilliant meeting
In full: At 1.5k the hill from hell kicks in for the next kilometre which was a mare but set the rest of the run up just nicely.

This was a brilliantly organised meeting - the 10K was started with the half marathon which made the first 3k (where they split the the runners) a great start given that there was so many runners. Everything went like clockwork - really well marshalled and the finish was really welcoming. Loved this meeting and I will absolutely be back. Generous goody bag from the sponsors. Five stars!

In short: Waddesdon 5K Is a lovely meeting
In full: Like this meeting lots - I know it's a 5k (and always has been) but has anyone thought of making this a 10k with 2 looks? That would make this a really fantastic meeting.

In short: Good run if you don't mind suburbia
In full: This is the 4th time I've run this and I'll do it again as it's a well run day on what is often a hot weather meeting. Always plenty of cheering on from the locals and the fine marshalling people. Not the most picturesque of runs but will be back cos I like it.

In short: Really good meeting
In full: I have entered the PR 10k four times and each year it's always good - well organised and run - plenty of marshalls and (Thame 10k take note) has three water stations which on a warm day as often this run is was very welcome. Well done all concerned and see you next year.
