In short: Enjoyable undulating race with excellent organisation In full: Finished in 69 minutes which was above expectation especially considering the undulating course. I can see what RW meant by “tough hills”. Hobs Hole Lane is definitely going to remain in the memory for next time.
The course is enjoyable and it is not a boring flat course. You have to think your way round which makes for an entertaining race.
Marshalling was excellent and they did a fantastic job of controlling the traffic and encouraging runners. Sign posting to the venue was excellent and the dedicated free multi storey car park was a nice touch. Liked the finish arena too which prompted a sprint finish.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to have mile markers in addition the km markers and if the budget allows for it then a t-shirt would be nice. Overall an excellent race and I look forward to coming back to try and get under the 60 min mark.
