In short: good and challenging but boy was it warm!
In full: Eric and his team have come up with a superb day once again and it is easy to see why this is rated as No.1!
Superslick organisation, good marshalling, good and challenging course, great crowd support and good value - it's near enough everything you want in a race.

This year the weather was good if a tad on the warm side especially along the prom for the last three miles (but thats just me being picky)
I found the re-arrangment of the "loop" a lot easier than the old one by the fishing huts for some reason. It's also nice having a text when you got home with your results.

Overall a fantastic race and I will be back next year!

In short: Great race -shame about the water!
In full: I not a local, just working in Falmouth for the week and saw this race advertised so I decided to give it a go. Paid on the day (£15 Affiliated) which turned out to be excellent value for money.
Race HQ in the local Weatherspoons was a little hectic and the toilets got very busy. A free pre race massage was on offer as well as a mass warm up before the start.
The route - "hilly" is an understatement! it is a challenging course with quite a few steep hills especially a soul destroying one at mile 10! The mile markers seemed to be spot on and the marshalls overall were very encouraging. The only major gripe I would have was the quality of the water at the water stations with the exception of one official station (mile 9) and an unofficial station early on in the race, the water tasted awful and smelt like neat Dettol -I almost chucked up on the spot. Luckily I had a small amount of energy drink with me and I had to make it last the whole race. Fair play to the organisers though because when I spoke to them at the finish line they were very apologetic -perhaps a "taste test" would be worth doing in future. Bananas,Cornish Pasties and water were given out and the goody bag was excellent - promotional bumpf, kitkat, biscuits, can of beer, a coaster and a voucher for a free glass of champagne!
All in all fantastic value for money and a challenging course, slick organisation particularly given that this is the first time this event has taken place. If the water issue could be sorted out I think Run Falmouth will only get bigger and better next year and will be one of the "must do" races in the south west.

In short: Slick organisation -a great race
In full: This was my first time at Tonbridge Wells -I was well imnpressed with the pre race instructions and chip timing was a brilliant bonus as well as a free technical T shirt. The course was very well marshalled including motorcyclist checking the course was clear. We had an excellent percussion band sending us off and they were also present after we had completed the "interesting hill" at mile 6/7.
Crowd support was good as well. There were free pre and post race massages, a kiddies creche, baggage storage and plenty of toilets. There were three or four drink stations as well as a "gel" station. Results were posted up very quickly. Bananas and water at the finish and the only slight niggle was that the goody bags had run out -however the lady at the help desk was very apologetic and gave me the crisps and fruit bar that would have been in the goody bag (apparently the rest was just advertising.
To sum up: A challenging course with super slick organisation and terrific value for money -look forward to doing this next year!

In short: Value for Money
In full: The secenery in this two lap race is lovely, but be warned -there is a winding hill at mile 1/3 followed by a nice downhill albeit muddy and slippy in places. Car parking was well directed and the race marshalling was excellent and cheerful. There was a drinks station halfway round and at the end you were rewarded with a christmas pudding, a cup of mulled wine, a mince pie and a medal - Seriously good value for money. Slightly confused by the engraving "Kent Christmas Cracker"on the back of the medal considering we were in East Sussex,(presumably from one of their other events) but a medal is a medal and a very nice christmassy one as well. Definitely up for this race next year -lovely scenery, good organisation and value for money. Organisers please note: This could be a fantastic run in the summer!

In short: A rip off and a lousy course
In full: I wasn't impressed with the race. The first drink station was a shambles as the water hadn't been poured into the cups. The last three miles was a pointless demoralizing zig zag which could have been overcome by going out and back along the undercliff park. Goody bag - ok we got one but it was just a collection of postcards advertising charities, a space blanket and a squirrel bar tasting like cardboard. The entry fee was a joke - £20 for a half marathon is well OTT.
Won't be doing it again.

In short: An excellent race which was well marshalled - small problems with local drivers trying to get past, but a great time otherwise.
