In short: Great preperation for the upcoming festive over indulgence
In full: Never an easy course. Quite exposed in places and always seems to be windy. Extremely well organised, and the support from the marshalls was superb. First decent energy drink I've ever had in a race. Not convinced by the goody bag, I prefer the t-shirt they normally provide. Overall great satisfaction in getting a marathon in before the festive over-indulgence kicks off.

In short: Well organised - reasonably fast course - great goody bag, medal, t-shirt etcc
In full: Well organised event. Easy to park, good changing, toilets etc. One challenging hill but the rest pretty flat. Great medal, t-shirt, and goody bag. Minor gripe that some sections had no footpath and a fair amount of traffic, but overall a good race.

In short: Flat fast race
In full: Nice flat, fast well organised race in a great location. Nice tee-shirt and pleasantly quirky goody bag - game of happy families any one? Not sure I totally agree with the comments about more water stations - I didn't take on any fluids during or after with no ill effects - so figure one station should have been enough, though they did look a bit short-handed.

In short: Perfectly organised and very fast in the right conditions
In full: Love Dorney as a venue. It's flat, fast and closed to traffic. A bit open to the wind which slowed things a little on Sat. Perfectly organised, nice goody bag (I haven't had Love Hearts in a while). Great value.

In short: A great race and incredible value for money
In full: A hidden gem of a race. Not many people seem to know about it still, but one of the very best ultras I've ever done. £10 gets you 7 checkpoints with food, plus a meal at the finish - incredible.

In short: Enjoyable - not to challenging marathon
In full: Made a bit of an error joining the start late so the first seven miles were pretty congested. Very well organised. A few hills but nothing very demanding. The Greenway the second time around was a bit mentally taxing. Would have liked a T-shirt instead of the half/full catch all medal (and banana!).

In short: Flat and fast and very well organised
In full: Some of the slower 8 mile runners were a bit of a rolling road block at the back of the first lap, and I maybe expected a little more in the goody department than the mug. But these are very minor quibbles. Overall a good race and great prep for the marathon later in the month.

In short: Pretty tough day for it - but very well organised event
In full: I'm not a great fan of multi-lap races, but as multi-laps go this was a good one. Great facilities, very well organised, but winds made it a little challenging at times. It did gain the distiction though of being the only race I've chosen to wear running tights and a jacket - and there were no regrets!
