In short: Excellent race - hot, hot, hot!!
In full: Another well organised Manches 10k with the familiar hill through Moor Park Golf Course catching out the unaware!
Great race and excellent weather (if a little too hot!)

In short: Great organisation - Bath, eat your heart out!
In full: Once again, a well-organised event that never fails to impress. Only gripe is that the T-Shirts were cotton and not the usual dry-wicking material but, apart from that, faultless

In short: Enjoyable race!
In full: Enjoyed this race. Very smooth organisation and a great family feel to the day. The course was a mixture of ups and downs and the weather certainly played its part - I was hugging to the shade as much as possible!
Overall, an enjoyable race and I'll be back next year.

In short: Very enjoyable race with PB potential
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed this race. Great support around the park and the weather certainly added to the occasion! Organisation was brilliant and the medal and t-shirt capped a wonderful day in Cassiobury Park. Many thanks to the organisers and marshalls for their sterling efforts.
I have attended a lot of big races recently (Bath, Bristol) and this certainly ranks as one of the best races I have taken part in throughout 2008!

In short: Great race - Poor Organisation for a HUGE price!
In full: The price of this race has been a long running thread on Runners World and, despite reassurances from the Race Director, the organisation proved to be a shambles.
It's very simple. When people arrive at the finish, you have three lanes with large signs above them so people can see; one for small T-shirts, one for medium, one for large. In each lane, one person hands out the goody bag (with T-Shirt inside), one the silver foil and one a drink. People leave lane - done.
This is a real shame as I really enjoyed the race itself. The crowd were brilliant and, as I ran it in fancy dress (Snow White), they really supported me along this PB potential course (only 2 mins under my PB - and I was in fancy dress).

I will be back next year but please sort this out! This race is on the crest of being a 'special' race for a vast majority of people but the administration really needs to get a whole lot better!

In short: Great race with PB potential
In full: First outing for me and really enjoyed the course. Good mix of small downhill and uphill stretches and liked the final lap of the track to finish!
Well marshalled (thanks guys) and great goody bag - my first mug!
Recommended to all and will be back next year!

In short: Great off-road race with challenging
In full: Secone time at the Terminator and it never gets any easier. Totally forgot about the last hill about a mile from the end (was on my hands and knees climbing it!)
Great organisation at a resaonable price. Thanks to all the marshalls who, again, were on top form. A+

In short: Great Event, but...
In full: Once again, a great atmosphere and a brilliant (but sore) way to start the New Year. Couple of gripes though:

1. Poor start. The race started over 20 minutes late. Not really a problem as it was not particularly cold, but annoying that those of us who arrived in good time had to wait for the late arrivals!

2. Medals. Half of my team were given medals from the 1999 race! They finished at about the three hour point and I saw a fair few annoyed people with these medals.

Minor gripes, I know, but it does not detract from the fact that this is a brilliant race that I will definitely be signing up for again!

In short: Good local race for a worthy cause
In full: Remembered the hill this year and slashed five minutes off my time from last year. See you in 2005!
