In short: Very well organised In full: There weren't too many marshals but this didn't matter as the route was marked out well. Everyone was really friendly. The course was on good tracks - about a 1/4 was on road. I'd like to try the route in Winter when the conditions are challenging!

In short: Tough Race - very friendly. In full: You start by running a mile along a road mainly down hill. The you go up the hill along a good track - it isn't too steep but must be over 2 miles. Then it's back down the way you went up. The last mile was a killer - uphill! The hill (sorry mountain) was the one in the film 'The man who went up a hill and came down a mountain'.
Great food afterwards. Date of review: August 27, 2006
