In short: A fabulously hilly, muddy, off road and organised race. In full: I come down from London every year to run this incredible run. I love it. Who wants to do Run the the Beat for £40 when you can be in quiet and beauty of the Dorset countryside. Thank you to the Doddlers for making this such fun. Date of review: October 29, 2012

In short: Excellent organisation as always In full: A new start and finish and I have to agree with some of the previous comments. The old finish was wonderful with family and friends at the finish to cheer us all on. The new finish is tucked away with no room for cheering fans! Also a shame not to have some water along with the great fruit you always had. I will be back as it is one of my top 10. Thank you. Date of review: January 30, 2011

In short: Best race I have ever done - that includes the LFM! In full: I loved this race - it is now a must in my race calender. Great organisation and the marshalls were suberb. More water stations were laid on due to the warm weather and at every station there were jelly babies and gels! The marshalls were helpful and supportive for the full 30k. Not a course for beginners but a must for anyone who wants to try some off road races. Well done to all the organisers. Date of review: June 15, 2008

In short: No water available - a joke. In full: This race has become too big and the event cannot cope with 11,000 runners/walkers. They have you waiting in temps of 31 degrees for too long and have no water available at the start or finish. There were children and adults dehyrated and only one ambulance on standby (which could not get out due to bad organisation!) Runners World - do not support this event. By the way - £10 for children to enter! Date of review: July 2, 2006
