In short: Nice Race
In full: Really enjoyed the race. It was very well marshalled and mile markers every mile. Appeared well organised. Fairly flat course apart from a slight incline about 8 miles in. A couple of laps round the industrial estate the off onto the road. Slight let down with delayed start and no pins available at enquiry desk. Also took 40 mins to get out of the car park at the end of the race. Overall a pleasant race.

In short: One killer hill
In full: Well organised run, good distance and timing for use as training for the London Marathon. A few narrow paths but the staggered start helped ensure that it wasn't too crowded. Friendly marshals and conducive start with changing facilities in the Ramada Hotel with start line less than 30 metres from entry to Hotel (this meant little to no travel from parking).

In short: Good Course and local venue...
In full: ...but very crowded most of the way. Regents Park much more preferable to victoria park. The km markers were very sparse and thus quite ineffective as a tool to get a sense of speed. The drinks finished quite quickly. The fact that the Bakerloo line went was suspended on the day didn't help. A decent goody bag but there was no signposting from the main road and I didn't find the stewards very friendly

In short: Intimate
In full: A very friendly local run. One circuit round Lloyd Park and some of the side streets. Only bit of a shame is you have to watch out for cars and the tram during the race but the Marshals are very helpful.

In short: Worth doing at least once
In full: A large field leading to an extremely slow start. Dependent on your predicted finishing time it might take you up to 10 mins to get to the start line. They don't use championship chips so all this is added to your finishig time. Its worth doing at least once if only for the large crowd.
