In full: Enjoyed the course - really friendly and encouraging marshalls!! Tried to keep up with 3.30 time group but dragged behind in the end. The pace setters were great though!

In short: Excellent, well organised race, with a tough, scenic course
In full: Really well organised race with a tough scenic course. The hill at 3 miles was a killer, but didn't mind the one at 4.5 and 7 miles. 8th female back, which i'm chuffed about! marshalls were friendly and encouraging the whole way. it's a pity if this is going to be the last one!

In short: Hard, muddy race with tough hills..... totally enjoyed it!!!!
In full: Slightly longer than 10k. First 3 miles were a good warm up for what was to come!! Marshalls were friendly and pointed us in the right direction. A tough race for a 10k but good intro into xcountry running. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone (even my 62 year old mum did it in 1 hour!!).

In short: The heat!!!!!
In full:
3.44.38!! Was on for sub 3.30 up until 18 miles then it all went pearshaped and i was reduced to a jog.

The marshalls were all really cheerful (thank you!!!) however the lucozade was far to close to the waterstations to be of much use.

Despite my time and the heat i had a really great day. Thanks everyone who was involved and turned up to cheer us on.
