In short: Lovely run along the river with great african drummers
In full: A well organised race, friendly feel and very pleasant scenery, but tough being off-road. Some choke points prevent a PB, but a lovely Sunday morning out. Very encouraging marshals. Pity the hot drinks ran out. My first off-road half marathon and I really enjoyed it.

In short: Congratulations to the organisers on this postponed race. Encouraging marshals.h
In full: Well done on rescheduling this race. Well organised, bit hot for running, but shady lanes helped. Good number of runners, not too many. Many encouraging marshals.

In short: Pleasant course, pity about the long hill!
In full: Not a PB course, but a well organised race which could be improved with a better finish area and supervised baggage. Would be nice to get an energy bar at the finish? Many thanks to the fellow who picked up my Go gel for me near the start of the race.

In short: Excellent organisation. Good pre-marathon race.
In full: Marshalling very good, especially the guitar and singing was appreciated. Four laps a bit hard, but last one wonderful. Pity the traffic was busy.

In short: Well organised, very scenic race
In full: Well organised race through lovely country side. Fairly hilly, so don't run this one if you are after a fast time or don't like hills. Waterstations disappointing with empty cups on the table, not enough people to hand out the cups. Facilities fine, baggage a bit slow to get back while you get cold. Bananas appreciated & nice medal, but no goody bag.

In short: With hills and wind a good challenging half marathon
In full: A big thank you to all the marshals and for a great organisation. Good number of runners and friendly atmosphere. Start line was not clear and my timing suggests GUN to finish was used. Would have preferred a medal to a T-shirt. All in all good training for spring marathon.

In short: Perfect organisation, pity about the weather
In full: Excellent venue, easy to get in and out with good parking near the start. Scenery a bit dull in the rain, probably better in sunny weather. Certainly worth repeating next year.
