In short: Incredible scenery made this tough race *seriously* worth the effort
In full: These races carry an inflated entry fee with them, however there's no doubting that they're well-organised and slick events in some truly stunning locations. It's hard not to compare the cost with other races of this genre, however on balance I'd rather do it than not. It was a hot day (probably for the first time) and the lack of water stations showed, I'm not altogether convinced they couldn't have squeezed a couple in.

I am annoyed about being charge a quid for a car sticker at registration then seeing them being handed out with abandon at the end. What's all that about then? Please be consistent with the way you do business, or you'll have people like me moaning ...

In short: Great race, the fast finish makes up for having to do those hills twice round. Well organised, congrats and well done to Harrogate Harriers!

In short: Not a bad race, but chaotic getting to the start and a bit messy at the end. Lots of confusion as to where the clock actually stopped! That said, it's a nice course with no really nasty hills so there is PB potential there.

In short: Exceptionally good organisation and very convivial atmosphere, a truly great race. A real speedy course, not many this flat in Yorkshire!! This is what it's all about, it made the GNR look like blatant profiteering .....
