In short: Flat Course, ideal for PBs. Friendly village atmosphere.
In full: This is the third time I have done the Fradley 10K. It is always an enjoyable run. The locals turn out in force and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Didn't quite hit my PB but did my second fastest 10K ever. Should it be called a P2B? One or two gripes this year. The Km markers were hard to spot, apart from the 1Km one, as they were painted on the road in yellow. The toilets have been busy every year so I expected this and planned accordingly. The price seemed a bit steep for just a medal. No goody bag or T shirt. My race number didn't arrive, as the Royal Mail refused to deliver it, as it only had a second class stamp on an A4 envelope. Having said that there was no problem getting an alternative number on the day. I guess we runners should be thankful for the people who put themselves out to organise and marshall the events. All we have to do is pay up, turn up and run.
All in all - The weather was good, the run was enjoyable so thanks to all concerned and see you next year. p.s. anybody got the race results? Did you beat me John H?

In short: Ran a PB and enjoyed doing it.
In full: A village atmosphere. Friendly marshalls and locals. Much warmer than last year. Did a PB, which I was pleased about. Not sure what other people found but I wondered if the last km was measured right as this was my slowest kilometre by about 20 seconds and I just dipped over the 50 minutes which I was a bit miffed about as I was on track all the way to beat it. At least it gives me a target for next time!
