In short: A great reace for all the family to enjoy In full: This is one of my favourite races with a good mix of hills and flat terrain. The hills are a real challenge, but with a lovely sense of achievement at the top. A lovely friendly environment that welcomes the whole family either as runners or supporters. In short: Fantastic race, very friendly with great atmosphere. In full: This was a tremendous success, particularly for an inaugural event. The route was lovely and the scenery took the pain out of the exceptional heat that we had on the day. A very well organised event and one that I hope will be there for many years to come. In short: A bit of a challenge in all those hills, but well worth the effort In full: A very welcoming race, amazing number of marshals and supporters and a general fun atmosphere. The route was obviously hilly, hence the name, but the off road nature of the route and the scenery took your mind of the aching legs. The catering afterwards looked very good. Well worth taking the wallet for a post race bacon sarnie. My only negative is that it is too close to the Henley Half, previous weekend, so I struggled.
