In short: Well done to all the marshalls and folk at the drink stations
In full: The field at the start do not have much going on this year and I could not find a programme. They were setting up much later this year. I do not know why the start was delayed and they need to tell the people at the back not just those at the start. Start not so well organised this year and the time markers were late causing some confusion on where to stand. Start seemed more congested this year (have they increased the numbers?). They must get some better organisation at the finish the congestion was quite bad this year and I for one did not hang around. Still enjoyed it though

In short: As usual an excellent race well organised in a great location. At the finish I received a technical T shirt, a race cup, a unique medal, a nice bag, isotonic drink, energy bar, banana, cup of tea , sandwiches and a cake. Good value I would say. c

In short: Have not competed in this race for 4 years but is has not lost any of its charm. Very well organised - drink stations and Marshalls excellent. I might be a little slower than when I last competed in this one but it was still very enjoyable, y

In short: Without doubt the best race in the UK
In full: Brilliantly organised yet again. How many races give you a technical running t shirt, sandwiches, cake and coffee along with a goody bag. Not to mention the weekend of entertainment set up. No other race comes close to this one.

In short: Interesting to hear some say the hills were easy!
In full: To me a challenging course, especially having to do it for two laps. Although it always wears me out it is very satisfying once finished. Scenery OK and very well organised with friendly Marshalls etc. Everytime I went past the photographer I was on the wrong side of the road and blocked by other runners, so should not suffer embarassment.

In short: A very popular and enjoyable event.
In full: A hard effort due to the Sun and heat this year and the hills had grown in steepness! Only gripe was that a few mile markers were missing.

In short: Brilliant organisation for what must be the most scenic half Marathon in the UK. Don't tell everyone, it will be our secret.

In short: Tough windy course and according to my Polar a 1020ft climb
In full: Well organised event with good and supportive marshalls. Course is very challenging as it covers tracks, wonky footpaths, roads and many twists and turns. It is not flat and is the hilliest Marathon I have run. I was absolutely wrecked when I finished this one
