In short: The drizzle and wind cannot deter from this well orhanised event. A must for all.
In full: Never mind the weather, who needs the heat of London! Enjoy the scenery, the warm convivial atmosphere and the single malts. Will be back again next year.

In short: A well run event. Even the marshall's remained cheerful and encouraged everyone despite the horrendous conditions that they had to stand out in. Could some straw be put doen in the changing tenst next year to prevent the mud bath on completion?

In short: This is my fourth year runnin g this excellent marathon. A small field, plenty of fresh air, and spectacular scenery makes this a viable alternative to the bustle of London. Excellent PB potential; 7 out of 8 Portsmouth Joggers managed it this year

In short: Mud, mud, glorious mud - and plenty of it!
In full: Once again a superbly organised event that any entrant cannot fail but to enjoy. The snow, hail and wind is worth it all to take in the views and enjoy the soup at the end. Where else do they take your shoes of for you?

In short: Hard going and an achievement to finish.
In full: The conditions made this a particularly hard run this year, so all credit to the organisers for making the event run so smoothly. A special note of thanks to the Marshals who not only braved the elements but kept us fed and watered. See you in 2005.
