In short: Great value, Brilliant organisation and some thoughtful touches like the Goody bag In full: At £14 for affilated runners (which includes chip timing) this race puts a lot of others to shame as Gosport RR were able to get the course efficiently marshaled with plenty of water and a Haribo stop ! Very enthusiastic marshals and a Samba band. Thoughtful goody bag which came in Club emblazoned canvas. The baggage store was very efficient and I couldn't fault the whole day. Thank you. In short: one of my favourite races, but let down this year by the water stops In full: perfect weather for running, although a little windy in places. the downhills offer enough recovery to make up for the climbs, which are not too painful. organisation could have been better. the baggage lorry was a no-go area, luckily we had some support there who looked after ours. as stated by many, the water stations caused a big problem, i skipped the second one because people were pouring their own water. Also my Garmin measured the course at 12.99M but otherwise a nice event and glorious scenery and will be back again next year. Date of review: March 3, 2008
