In short: Good organisation, quite scenic and very fast.
In full: I enjoyed it more this year, partly because of the weather, but also because the Leisure Centre made the start much better. I liked using the track a lot. I'm confused by the person who's said that people finishing after 2h40 had no mile markers, as my finish time was 2h 44 and I saw every single one (although some were a bit indistinct, scrawled onto the signs). The T-shirt is a bit crappy, yes, but I'll be back.

In short: The most beautiful race I've ever done. Wonderful.
In full: I loved this race. As we did the difficult climb my friend reminded me to look behind me at that view. Once we at the top I had no need to be reminded to notice the scenery. I have nothing to criticise at all about this race. I really appreciated the jelly babies, energy sweets and Mars bars given out on the way round, there was plenty of lovely supporters, even the polo shirt is quite nice. We'll definitely travel the couple of hours to come back next year. :)

In short: Nice crisp run through the forest
In full: A lovely run through the crunchy ice-filled forests.Just enough undulation to keep me amused. I'd have liked some mile markers, and there was a bit of confusion about the car parks, - and the marshals were a bit silent - but no major problems.

In short: Fast and friendly with great marshals
In full: I struggled round as I was a bit ill, but I couldn't fault it and it was great to see so many happy competitors at the end! Thanks to all the marshals and organisers.

In short: Paris Human Race - sounds better than the London one!
In full: I didn't actually do the race, but I watched the one in Paris. I found it bizarrely small and low-key, which was maybe down to the price. The T-shirts looked good, but I would have felt hot running in that rather than a vest. The weather was pretty warm in Paris, but there were still only a couple of hundred spectators for 5000 runners, and literally no-one was clapping when the winner came in until I started doing so and they took my lead! The course was probably a bit prettier than London as it was in a park, but no more interesting, covering as it did zero Paris landmarks. The concert in Paris (Kelly Rowland and some French bands) was after the race, though, so it seems unfair that the people in London were forced to sit through one beforehand. Goody bags looked good, they were from Starbucks and had muffins in amongst other stuff.

In short: Scenery, organisation, great T-shirt. Stonking.
In full: Not much to add that's not already been said. Utterly beautiful, perfectly organised. Fairly testing for someone like me who's used to flat Cheshire roads. The finish line is a long time coming, though! Even the beer garden presentation was picturesque. Loved it.

In short: Great fun, but organisational problems and awful value.
In full: I really enjoyed the course, which was ironically much less urban than I'd imagined. I disagree with others saying that the obstacles were easy. I'd say the walls at the start especially zapped your energy, and the hill climbs were pretty tough, but I've not done Tough Guy etc. The big problems for me were lack of distance markers, awful marshalling which sent lead runners in the wrong direction, vagueness about distance, not announcing the results (for a week, it looks like) and the terrible goody bag.

In short: Great race, but the shortened course was disappointing
In full: I've loved this race both times I've done it, but it was very annoying today to find out that the length was reduced - so we'll never really know how far we ran, so whether we did well etc. I also thought the goody bag was terrible for the cost of the race - just apricots? - even worse than the Great Manchester Run. I'll still keep returning, though. Tough, but great for those of us at the front and those of us further back, too.

In short: Very well organised, great first run
In full: Very well done to the organisers. I'm looking forward to doing a lot more of the time trials here. It was definitely undulating, but by the second lap you know what you're up against. A perfect morning for it, too.

In short: Perfectly organised, very friendly.
In full: I've not much to add to what everyone else has said. Exceptionally well organised, great marshals, toilets and goody bags. My first ever prize, too! Thanks very much.
