In short: Awesome experience - third FLM and PB by over 20 minutes - 3:06:51 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In full: Simply awesome ! Thanks very much Runner's World as I followed your 3:15 schedule to the letter to try to improve on my two previous efforts of 3:27hrs. At times I questioned whether I was really training hard enough but felt that avoiding any injuries was more important in the long term. In the process I got through almost two hundred extra miles compared to last year's training. On the day I aimed for sub 3:10 and completed the race in 3:06:51. I was a little emotional but proud and delighted and can't thank you, all my supporters and the organisers enough. Can't be beaten - until maybe next year when I go for sub 3:00 !!!!!!

In short: Good event marred by mile marker problems, i.e. one was shorter ad another was longer than a mile and mile 9 marker not present. Worth doing though as it's fairly fast and has PB potential !
