In short: Excellent low-key, well organised fast & flat course with good scenery In full: Although am somewhat biased as the race route takes me past my beach hut and so regularly train over the course, really enjoyed it today. Very cold but not much wind so conditions not too bad and ran faster than at Cabbage Patch few ago weeks on which the UK record was set so potentially very fast on a slightly warmer day. In short: Scenic, well organised race on narrow lanes with road closures makes for a good event. The first mile all uphill puts paid to PB chances however. Date of review: May 30, 2010

In short: Good straightforward race. In full: Been meaning to do this one for a few years as I live enough near to jog to/from the start - and did so can't comment on the car parking! Pretty quick one lap course although the drags just take the edge off. Juding by my fellow competitors the race like lining up for a Bushy parkrun. Date of review: February 17, 2009
