In short: Organisational blips. Good race for beginners, fun runners etc
In full: Need more portaloos, more buses from the park n rides and more helpers at the finish. Otherwise organisation was good. Great atmosphere.

In short: Nice race with no traffic.
In full: Sunny day helps! Even though fairly flat, not as easy as it looks. Gentle slopes that go on and on (but what goes up must come down!) Easy parking. Nice medal and shirt. Enthusiastic crowd.

In short: Absolutely useless!
In full: Couldnt organise a p up in a brewery. Start a complete farce. Finish a complete farce. Far too many people for the course, and I mean thousands too many. Other than that it was OK and a good route.

In short: Blackpool is exciting and interesting!!!!
In full: Exciting - waves crashing over the sea walls. Interest - beached ferry on its side. Great job by organisers to re-route it. Crowded start because all the RW pacers were too close together! Great race.

In short: Hilly and well worth doing whether beginner or club runner.
In full: Superb weather today but regardless this is a good race to have a go at. Virtually all uphill for 2nd and 3rd km, and v steep, then undulating with some fast downhill stretches later and one last steep bit in 8th km that saps what's left of your energy. Flat final 2km that seems to never end! Very well marshalled and organised. Bananas and water at finish.

In short: Great route. Excellent race. Fees go to the charity so "good value".
In full: A few inclines otherwise virtually flat through some great scenery considering this was Preston! Great comedy at start ("if you find your feet are wet then you are in the River Ribble"). Good atmosphere and a pub as well! Did I run past the great Ron Hill?

In short: A small and friendly race that everyone can enjoy - from speed merchants to first timerss
In full: Nice and flat. Three laps inside the park. Supporters never far away (if you brought any!). Lots of room to run - not crowded. Everyone made welcome. Nice venue. Left everyone smiling
