In full: Lovely day, didn't mind the first bit round the industrial estate one bit but missed most the scenery of the second half.... too busy avoiding potholes! Why do race organisers always throw a killer hill in right at the end? But then, where would the fun be without it? Hope to be back next year!

In short: Thoroughly enjoyed it and acheived a PB!
In full: If I had to be picky then I'd mention that I thought there would be signposts to the event. Parking was hectic and we didn't know if we needed to pay and display or not. Also got menaced by chavs on bikes who thought it would be fun to play chicken. For the price of the event (£17), the route could have been closed off for the runners.
But seriously - it was a great day and I really enjoyed it!

In short: Only my second race so I don't have much to compare it with. The ground was very hard and rutted anddidn't like running on the bridlepath and the hill at the end was soul destroying. But I did it, bang on est time even though it killed me!
