In short: Love the village feel of this race!
In full: Excellent race, lovely scenery, friendly atmosphere and a great mix of club and non club runners. Was our club grand prix so a great excuse to stay on the village green and have a pint or two!

In short: Best Marathon Ever!
In full: Love it, love it, love it. Beachy was blessed with fantastic weather again this year which only helped to make my favorite race even better. The addition of chip timing was excellent as were the marshals, those at the water station and everyone else involved. Can't wait till the next one!

In short: View from a supporter!
In full: I came along to cheer on my friend who was runnng and got to witness this fab race.
The location was nice, starting/finishing venue again good but what impressed me and made the race stand out was the organisation and in particular the tricky marshalling spots that ran like clockwork due to the hard work of the marshalls which I know can be a tough job.
Water & feed stations also ran like a dream and everyones support to the runners was fantastic.
I will definately be recommending this as a club trip for any of my running club who want a PB as I think this is the place for that - so watch out for the Dartford Road Runners next year as I'm sure we will be there on mass!

In short: Scorchio!
In full: A lovely route, friendly marshals and great technical tee! Downside was just too hot which there was nothing the Striders could have done but it would have been a nice touch to have a sponges stop to take the sting out of it as this weather had been predicted for the week leading up to the race. Know myself how hard it is to please all of the runners all of the time and I'll deffo be back so well done Striders!

In short: Those Deal Tri peeps know how to do it
In full: Fab weekend away at Deal to run the race and swim the sea swim - both were fantastic. Well organised, great value for money and loads of lovely marshalls and organisers. What more could you possibly want apart from not such a big hill! We'll be back to do it all again next year!

In short: What a lovely day!
In full: A part of a group of Dartford Road Runners who came along to support one of our runners on this route I can't comment on a lot of it but from what we saw (and we saw a fair bit as we ran to a few different spots on the course) was that it was a lovely race, well organised with fantastic marshalls, brilliant water stations and an all round good feel about it which has changed my view on only running 'big' marathon events. Shame some of the drivers didn't listen to the marshalls instructions and there was a few dicey moments at the cross over points so job well done!

In short: One of my favourite races on my race calendar
In full: Despite getting a PW as just coming back from injury I still loved this race. Yes it was hot, yes it seemed to go on forever but yes it made me love my running all over again! Marshals everywhere cheering us on and even the public got involved. Thank you Folkestone for helping me find my mojo!!!!

In short: Great prep for Beachy Head
In full: A lovely but very challenging race, well organised with some nice touches, encouraging marshalls which really helped! Beautiful (if slightly warm) weather made the most of the stunning scenery so it wasn't just the hills that were breathtaking! Will be back no doubt!

In short: Great race with lovely marshalls
In full: In my top 10 of races, great course, plenty of hills to challenge you, more friendly marshalls than you can shake a stick at and a great shirt and goody bag. Have no idea why there wasn't a good turnout to this well organised race??? Thank you to all the lovely marshalls! See you next year!

In short: Still my fav race of the year!
In full: As a road runner it's hard to have an aquathlon as your favorite race but I do and have for the last few years. Lovely marshals on every corner cheering you on by name, great course and clockwork organisation. 2010 didn't fail to live up to the hype. Well done you Tritons and see you next year!
