In short: Hilly, twisty, muddy in places but great fun
In full: My third time on this course which has great character- twisty hills and narrow tracks in places with horse gates all add to the fun. I heard a nasty rumour that the course may change next year to take out some of 'pinch points' Don't do it. If you want a PB go to any of the myriad flat boring road races. Keep the character in this one, it's what helps make it a unique and fun race. Who cares about PB's?

In short: Fantastic Race. The third lot of steps are a killer, but well worth it.

In short: Fantastic. Harder and longer than last year - must be the hardest half!
In full: I've just looked at the photos. This is the only time I've seen myself smiling in every one. Although it may have been a grimace of pain!. Thoroughly enjoyed myself . Well done Dr Rob

In short: Second only to the Midsummer Munro for "hardness"
In full: The steepness of the hills and the beautiful scenery are what make this race both challenging and enjoyable. The organisers and marshalls enthusiam make this race special.
