In short: Excellent, friendly fun in picturesque countryside.
In full: Really like the course - it's got a couple of quite big hills near the start, but then you get the really fast downhills to make up for them. Friendly and efficient organisation. I wasn't able to stay on afterwards, but wished I could because the smell of food cooking on the post-race BBQ was very tempting!

In short: Excellent race - proud to have been in on the first running of it.
In full: I don't run many 10ks but I couldn't miss this as it's so local to me. I'd definitely like to make it an annual feature in my racing calendar. The information on the website was clear and helpful; the marshalls were great; having the baggage tent was a fantastic help; it is a pretty and interesting route (the smelly bit took my mind off a bit of grit that had got into my eye - by the time I was past the eye-watering muckheap, my eye was clear - so that was ok!) I like the t-shirt. In fact, there's nothing not to like. I hope there'll be many more F1 Chicken Runs in the future.

In short: I'm not normally a big fan of 10Ks but this race is special.
In full: Second time I've done this race and, as before, the organisers and marshalls were great. Thank you!

In short: A very friendly and well-organised race.
In full: When I saw the location, the organisation and the whole friendly atmosphere of this race, I started to feel really guilty: I’d be pretty miffed if it was the men who were allowed to run in such a nice race and I couldn’t! Anyway, I’ve decided to stop feeling guilty and just be thankful that I am female and am allowed to run in this ladies-only race as it was great. I will look forward to entering again.
