In short: Fantastic, friendly, low key marathon
In full: Never thought I'd be able to say I enjoyed a marathon, having had two disasters, but I enjoyed every minute of this one. Great support, good organisation, lovely scenery and just the countryside in front of you. Defintely one to come back to.

In short: Amazing run in spectacular surroundings
In full: Not sure I can add anything to Jonathan Dobson 5's review, but suffice to say this was my first attempt at the North Downs 30k and I enjoyed every minute of it. An event like this reminds me why I love running. I shall definitely be back next year.

In short: Lovely scenic route - very friendly race.
In full: Super race, well worth getting up early for. Great organisation and as I was taking it easy before London the hills weren't too challenging so could enjoy the scenery.

In short: A challenging 10 mile course with the added bonus of the wind in your face for about 2 miles.
In full: A well organised run which is challenging - 2 hills in the first half and a hill in the 9th mile, how kind! Takes about a minute for us slower runners to get across the start line too.
Having said that great support from the marshalls and good goody bag.

In short: Gorgeous weather, lovely scenery and great support
In full: Beautiful 10k race through the Ashford countryside. Just make sure if you're going for a pb to get nearer the start line (or at least the appropriate spot for your time) and that there's a bit of a blockage for the first 1km due to the narrow road.

In short: Gorgeous scenery combined with beautiful sunny day
In full: Lovely run in the countryside through Bridge & Patrixbourne with a couple of hills on a gorgeous sunny day - what more can you ask for? Good encouragement from marshalls & Park & Ride worked really well too.

In short: Oh my god the wind!
In full: Had decided just to try and get round this race as I had a sore calf and I'd heard the weather reports. At 5 miles (and with the wind behind me)I was pleasantly surprised to see I was well inside my PB, then we turned the corner to come back, the rain came down and we were buffetted around in a wind tunnel for the next 5 miles. Don't know how we weren't swept off the promenade as we came round the last headland. Surprisingly enough still managed a pb - just! Certainly gives you something to talk about afterwards! Would agree with previous comments, great marshalls but more loos required.

In short: Great atmosphere, no pressure race.
In full: Super run mainly through the country park shading us from the heat of the day. Well organised and great to have the jelly babies, beer tent and WI cakes at the end.
