In short: Mud, water and a hill. Great way to spend a Sunday morning.
In full: This was my second time doing this race. It lived up to what I remembered and exceeded it. My legs were caked to the knees in mud and I'm going to have to wait a few days for before I can get the mud off my shoes.
Race organisation was again superb. The marshalls are brilliant on this course, friendly and offering plenty of encouragement with a smile.
Race HQ was a bit confusing with three desks but no obvious signs telling you what each was for. I went to the first desk to ask where I got my number and was immediately pointed to the correct desk where the young lady behind it was able to find my number instantly because she remembered seeing my name. Took me about a minute to get in and out of race HQ with my number.
I love the medals that get handed out with this race, they don't look mass produced because their wooden. I'm not sure but its almost like they are hand made.
Definitely going to try and run this one again next year.
Well done Tina and the Yeovil Running Club for putting on a great day.

In short: Another well organised YTRRC race
In full: I've done a few races organised by YTRRC now and I've always enjoyed them. This was no exception and I'm looking forward to doing it again next year.

In short: Like being a kid again
In full: This was a fantastic race. Wading through mud, splashing through all those puddles. It was just like being a kid again.
Hopefully YTRRC will add this to the calendar as its nice to have another interesting race that's close to home.
