In short: Wonderfully Welcoming Windy!
In full: The céilidh is a must!

Stayed in a B&B 2 mins from the start but do book in earlyish. Extremely friendly event from the Pasta party through to the ceilidh, cheery marshalls on a route that gave a great sense of open space.

The organisers were very keen to check everyone was ok and enjoying the event.

Yummy danish pastries after the run!!

In short: Great, local and low key.
In full: Great flat route out and back along the beach, cheery encouraging marshalls in abundance and water half way and at the finish..all this for a fiver on the night. This is what racing should be about.

I've done the Middleton, Sunday version of this event and think I prefer this one, great addition to the local evening fixtures.

Thank you Arunners.

In short: Be very proud Brighton
In full: It all seemed extremely well organised to me, water when I needed it, Powerade and shot blocks well placed. Absolutely loved the Scooter and car cavalcade.

I can't comment on the negatives below as I didn't experience any of them. The crowds were brilliant and just about right for me..I hate the wall to wall noise of London and any one who thinks that Eddy marathon has more atmosphere obviously ran a different one to my 2 visits.

The course is fine, it you want less switch backs then you will have to have more hills and council agreement so don't blame it on the organisers.

As someone who has been both behind the scenes and on the run I can't applaud the organisers enough..and if you know them as I do you will know they do all they can to make it a fantastic event for all. Why not come and help if you think you could make a difference?

Thank you to all the brilliant volunteers and thank you Brighton.

In short: All went like clockwork for me
In full: Apart from the cost which would put me off entering again the event went like clockwork for me. Found the car park easy enough, (and I don't live in the area) was directed in and the bus arrived within 5 mins of me joining the Q at 7.30am.

Bit basic at the start but all very clear where to go and enough people to ask if you couldn't work out that your number colour related to the pen colour code!

There are never enough loos at a start but there were plenty round the course at every water station.

Cheery marshalls, plenty of well manned water stations with small bottles of water and cups of energy drink. Very clear KM markers and good finish area.

In full: Very well organised little event, friendly marshalls/club. Tough running on the slippery stones but quite nice splashing through the wet sand.
