In short: Well organised, great race - if a little smelly!
In full: The guys did a great job in organising this race - everything went like clockwork, they'd made a huge effort for both runners and supporters which really showed. They'd even arranged nice weather! The course is a good one but the fast, downhill start is paid for later with a long uphill finish. The manure being dug up on the airfield depleted oxygen supplies a bit but that wasnt the end of the world.

The refreshments and goody bags at the end were fab and the trophies (not that I won one) were really good quality. Most of all I liked the early (9:30am) start - that way you had almost a whole day free after to enjoy the sunshine!

In short: Great race
In full: Scenery was much netter than expected and although not as many spectators on certain parts as you would hope, it was an all round good race, even if I did miss alot of the mile markers. Only main gripe - why oh why did they not carpet the cobbles!!!

In short: The poor organisation ruins what would otherwise be a great race
In full: Having been caught up in the carpark for an hour longer than it took me to run the race last year, this year I opted for the drop off option. Note to organisers - if you say there will be sign posting from J10 to the drop off point - put them up! Then for the start to be delayed yet again in freezing weather because the shuttle service was so inadequate was equally as frustrating. Sadly after 2 bad experiences, I wont be putting my £18 towards this race again next year.
