In short: Good but getting expensive In full: Great morning out for this my local run. My brother backed out this year as he couldn't justify the expense and although I love this well run race, I will think twice about it for the next one later this year.
Please do something about the toilets and do something about either reducing the cost or giving a goody bag at the end. Date of review: April 5, 2009
In short: A great end of year half In full: So much better this year with the better weather! Very good organisation and fantastic to start and finish indoors to get out of the cold. Date of review: December 15, 2008
In short: Very good In full: I love this (local to me) race. Once again the weather was perfect and once again the queue for the bogs was long. A new PB made it special. Date of review: October 13, 2008
In short: Enjoyable In full: Not a great course but not a bad one either. A few bottlenecks but most races have these. I would prefer a bottle at the water stations but can understand the cost may be too high.
Very easy to park and free too! A few more loos would be useful. Date of review: July 21, 2008
In short: Great run In full: I don't care if I get a mug or a medal so long as I get a memento and that it isn’t a t shirt and at least I can use the mug.
Yesterday was my 2nd 16 mile run after four or five times running the 8 mile course. October is much, much quieter than the April run with 600 runners instead of 2000 for the April run so it was idea for a PB. As ever I found it well marshalled and had no problems with cars on the road parts. The bit between the two roundabouts after Hampton Court Bridge was quite overgrown and would have been a problem if there had been more runners (as in April). Date of review: October 15, 2007
