In short: Another belter. Thanks so much to all who make it so good.
In full: I just don't think you can beat this event. The biggest little marathon in the world! (I even forgive you for the cold showers!)

In short: If you like a tough, off-road challenge then this is your baby!
In full: My 2nd visit to the mud and hills of the lovely Meon Valley. A wonderful day out and a superb event. The mud and hills were made all the more challenging for the addition of ice and slush! Excellent route-marking this year and the marshalls were superb. Thanks and congrats to all involved.

In short: Another awesome event. Thanks and congratulations to all involved.
In full: For me, Abingdon marathon exemplifies everything that is best about running. A jewel in the UK's marathon crown. Do it do it do it.

In short: Bloody HIlly. Bloody Muddy. Bloody Brilliant.
In full: Hard, especially in today's poor conditions, but every hill, every deep puddle, every flooded path, and every deep mudpit made it a challenge to relish. Superb marshalls (thanks everyone!) and lovely touches such as the shoe-cleaning hose and lace-undoing service. Sign up for this one and love the mud!

In short: I love this race. It gets better and better
In full: Thank you to everyone involved in making this such an inspiring and memorable event once again. It's a grade-A, fur-lined, ocean-going belter.

In short: Some ragged edges this year
In full: Some ragged edges to the organisation this year - thought most of this was down to the incompetence of Runners World who failed to pass on online entrys. Get a grip, people. Not sure the new course was successful either. Having done this race many times I'm now thinking I shan't do it again. Too many people on a congested course.

In short: Everything done well, as always. Thanks White Horse Harriers
In full: One of my favourite races and the course was a picure on a lovely spring day. Many thanks to all involved and thanks to the excellent and numerous marshalls out on the course.

In short: This race is a challenge. Have a go!
In full: This is a challenging race at the best of times but the fierce wind and (in later stages) sideways rain added to the challenge. Undulating in parts, aggressively hilly in others. The chocolate at the end was a lovely touch. Thanks to all for organising another great event, and big up to the marshalls for being out in that weather!

In short: Good race, well-organised and all the important things done well.
In full: I don't know why but I find this course never brings out the best in me. Perhaps too many twists and turns and not quite as flat as you expect. The spectators looked miserable in the cold and the rain. Well done to the marshalls and officials for being out in that!
