In short: A superbly organised race in a lovely setting.
In full: A really enjoyable event with a scenic run through Thames side meadows and the town. There were excellent facilities at the race HQ for runners and supporters and whilst the run itself was pancake flat the multi terrain nature coupled with a few " kissing gates " on the footpaths make a PB unlikely. A really enjoyable day, and a big thank you to all involved in putting it on for the rest of us.

In short: A beautifully organized, amazingly friendly, tough challenge amid glorious countryside
In full: The inaugural event of what ought to become an early summer off road classic. The course was a real toughie with long ascents and descents through beautiful New Forest countryside. The organization was superb and the marshals were probably the most vocal, friendly and supportive group of enthusiasts I have ever encountered. This race is a credit to Totton Running Club and from the appreciative comments I heard from my fellow runners it looks like we will all be back next year. I recommend that you join us. A huge thank you to all concerned.

In short: A fantastic unpretentious race, obviously organised by runners for runners
In full: A point to point cross country trail run through some outstandingly beautiful countryside. A really friendly event with s scenic coach trip to begin and fabulous home made cakes at the finish. The marshals were very supportive as were the police and PCSOs. A huge thank you to all of you guys for giving the rest of us a truly memorable day.

In short: Traditional, old fashioned cross country at its very best
In full: Second time now that I have run this, and as before it was outstandingly enjoyable - wet, muddy, tough going with a sting in the tail involving an uphill drag of an approach to the finishing stretch. Ouch. Fantastic marshalls, and friendly runners. Thanks to all at Tadley Runners. I'll be back.

In short: Quite outstanding. A superbly organized tough, tough race.
In full: That was just amazing. I have pains in parts of my body that I didn't know existed, but I loved it. It's my first trail marathon but it won't be my last. A fantastic effort from Mike and his team at 2.09, to whom many thanks, and of course similar thanks to the sponsors. I'm in pain, but utterly elated.

In short: A well marshaled flat course ideal for London preparation
In full: Four laps of an almost pancake flat suburban circuit. Excellently controlled by enthusiastic and supportive marshals. The four lap formula was great for pace judgment and is a confidence booster for London. Well done, and a big thank you to Worthing & District Harriers.

In short: An undulating, fairly challenging course and a fabulous race
In full: 2nd time I've done this race and I loved it again. I enjoy the multi lap nature with knowledge of what's to come on each circuit. The marshals were quite outstanding, unstintingly supportive, vocal and informative. The organisation was excellent and the clubhouse atmospheric and welcoming. Thank you to all involved behind the scenes. It's your hard work that makes quality races like this happen. Well done.

In short: A very well organised race with a lovely atmosphere
In full: A friendly well organised and marshaled race in the grounds of the zoo. PB potential on a three lap almost level course. I ended up with a fairly spectacular PW because I had been out with injury for four months but I'll definitely be back next year. Thank you to all at Dunstable for a great day out.

In short: Bottle neck start but otherwise well organised and marshaled
In full: A flat mainly traffic free course, well marshaled, but slightly compromised by a narrow start leading to initial congestion. I was buried in the pack at the start and never seemed to really get it together, mentally or physically, afterwards. My own fault, it wasn't caused by the course or the conditions. At 1.11 something I was over four minutes down on my time from last year, and actually slower than at the hilly, muddy multi terrain Tadworth 10 a fortnight ago! I'll return next year to put that right. Thank you to all at St Albans Striders. Your marshals were outstanding in their support and friendliness.

In short: A challenging race in a glorious setting.
In full: An excellent test of fitness, and conditioning ( or more likely, lack thereof !! )to start the new year. A tough hilly course with some off road sections to add interest. Superbly organized, and with really friendly supportive marshals and spectators. First time I've run this. It won't be the last. See you next year.
