In short: Great first race
In full: A great town atmosphere for a small race (300) in the 10k going through the town a few times and really nice scerary running along the river and up a tough hill to the hogwart like charterhouse school. There were a few problems with water heavy congestion at the start and along the river but it was really well organised and I'm sure these little problems will be sorted for next year when we will be back! Thanks for a great local race

In short: really good race well marshelled
In full: First time for this race, loads of club runners but a very friendly atmosphere with loads of really positive marshals. The nice sunny day helped but the mud was terrible in places even with off road shoes. No water stops, one would of been nice and a bit of a trek to the club house which we skipped.
Really enjoyed the club feel of this race well done.

In short: Another great day out with the oddballs
In full: one of the best. The marshals are fantastic, so many of them and all so friendly, wonderful setting and weather, great changing facilities and toilets.
This is my third year and I can't imagine not doing it, a great way to start the racing year.
Well done you oddballs, thanks a lot

In short: Over priced, badly organised and no goody bags!
In full: I had trained for this race for over two months to beat my PB only to find that it was 10.38Km, how did they get that so wrong! There were no distance markers, no water stations, no where to leave bags,no marshals to speak of, registration was a shambles, no prizes at end and no goody bags.
This has the potential of being a fantastic race as the course is so fast but they really have to work on the organisation.
