In short: They really weren't exaggerating in the pre-race blurb!!
In full: I was really upset at having to pull out at 9.5 after falling and pulling my hamstring, but had to leave feedback just to say a massive thank you to all the marshalls and other runners who really made this a fantastic race. Will definitely be back to do it properly next time!

In short: So hot but still fantastic
In full: It was really too hot for me but crowds and the atmosphere just kept me going. Was sorry to miss out on a PB but really pleased to have finished without falling apart:-)

Thank you soooo much to all the volunteers along the way.

In short: Bit of a disappointment
In full: Thanks to the Marshalls who were great on such a cold wet day.

I would just echo the other comments. I know they were raising money for charity, but the organisers do need to learn from this event.

I think the enthusiasm is there but there does need to be better signage, mile markers, and a proper start and finish line. Refreshments for runners and supports would also be good - I think most of these things were promised.

I wouldn't write the organisers off just yet, but would definitely want to see some improvements.

In short: Very friendly scenic race
In full: Marshalls & volunteers were absolutely brilliant. Wind was hard but found the heat more sapping - could have done with more water stations & more toilets. Only did this one because I couldn't get into flm but it was definitely worth the long trip up from London. Found it much easier to pace myself without the crowding there was at flm.

If there has to be an expo it should be walking distance from the city centre. Also, with such huge queues for the shuttle buses at the end they should have had at least two buses boarding at a time.

Have already recommended it to running friends & would definitely like to have another go.

In short: Great race. Marshalls were brilliant despite the rain. Chocolate at the end was very nice touch.

In short: Well organised, friendly race.
In full: This was my fourth attempt at this race. Queues for the toilets seemed longer this year and it would be good to have some loos in the middle of such a long race (especially for the ladies). Always enjoy this race. Would definitely do it again.

In short: Lovely course
In full: Lovely course, friendly marshalls. The hill is a challenge - was miffed I had to walk quite a bit of it this time :-( Downhill section and the clouds after the hill really helped me to pick up the pace after about mile 10. Had a great time but would have liked more water during the race and not to have queued for water at the end.

In short: Most fun I've had in a 10K
In full: Really enjoyed this. Didn't get a pb because I was recovering from a bug but the potential is definitely there. This would be an ideal first race for anyone.
