In short: A bit expensive, but very good organisation and great idea to have free sandwiches at the end. Definitely worth doing as part of marathon prep.

In short: Fantastic atmosphere
In full: Brilliant atmosphere at this race despite the pre-race weather trying to dampen spirits. The marshalls and spectators were great, and gave encouragement all the way round. The course itself is enjoyably challenging. It's constantly undulating and although there's only one or two particularly steep climbs, it gently kicks the crap out of you so by the time you're finished you're done in.

In short: Nice course, shame about the wind
In full: For future years, it'd be useful to say in the race pack which roads will be closed and from when. Due to closures I had trouble getting down to the waterfront and ended up parking on Duke St. Having said that, this did give me the chance to jog down to the start and avoid the massive queue to get into the official car park.

In short: Scenic and quick
In full: Good weather helped make this a very enjoyable race. One minor problem was the finishing funnel - It needed to be signposted better as it wasn't obvious and quite a few people were running either side of it.
