In short: Not about time, just about having fun. Even an Elvis Santa took part!!
In full: Surely one of the better events, if only for sheer fun and sense of humour. Very few people seemed to take it too seriously, even some dogs were dressed up and ran along. The best goody bag all year, a nice medal and a Santa outfit - bargain for the £10 entry fee. A nice way to spend a Sunday morning and half a giggle.

In short: fast and flat - easy to get a PB
In full: A very quick and flat course. Only niggles were the lack of obvious k markers and the water being rather questionably located at 3k and nowhere else. Apart from that, it was a perfect 10k that would suit even a novice runner.

In short: This race has a 'feel good' factor for some reason..
In full: The weather was extraordinarily cold, but the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Very well organised, nice medals and I shall definitely do this again.

In short: Go for it.
In full: Only minor niggle was that you pass the finish line and then have to run another few miles to get back to it... just a psychological teaser..!

In short: Well organised, deserves to be better attended.
In full: A really good course, just a few nasty hills but nothing too challenging even for a beginner. Frequent and friendly water stations. It was my first marathon and I will certainly do it again. No medal, though, which was a real disappointment!

In short: I would describe it as very hilly, not 'undulating'!!
In full: My first half-marathon and I came away with a severe knee injury from all the downhill runs. Well attended and well organised, but perhaps not for the beginner!
