In short: Many thanks to the organisers for putting on a great event. This is good ultra challenge through beautiful scenery. It was well organised and the support at the checkpoints was fantastic.
In full: Anyone wanting a challenge and enjoys having to use their naviagational skills will love this race. The weather this year was excellent apart from the strong breezy conditions.
The countryside between Blackheath and Brighton is stunning and a lot hillier than you would think. I would recommend this event as a must for anyone looking for a good ultra

In short: As always, meticuously organised and a pleasure to run. It's easy to see why this is always one of the top races each year and why poeple come back again and again.

In short: a beautiful and challenging course, impeccibly organised and well run
In full: This is a hard marathon but the scenery is superb. As in previous years the organisation was first rate and it is the organisers attention to detail that make this a special race. Any one who enjoys running in beautiful countryside in a well organised event should book themselves in for next year.

In short: in short one of the hardest and most challenging events I've ever undertaken
In full: Really enjoyed this one. The rain and wind and mud all added to the adventure with the added difficulties of finding your way. It must have been very difficult coming up with the route which passed through some amazing country side. The highlight apart from finishing was getting to the top of Ditchling Beacon and just as we got to the top there was break in the cloud and mist leaving increeible views looking back to where we had come from. The organisation and the support from other runners was superb from start to finish.
This event has all the ingredients of becoming a classic.

In short: really enjoyed this one particuarly the coastal views on the way out. E
In full: This is an excellent event but is a bit on the expensive side. I think the goodie bags were poor given the cost of entering. As the event grows perhaps it will attract more sponsor ship to offset some od the costs of holding the event. Don't get me wrong however this is an excellent race.

In short: Anyone running in London should do this as part of their training although I'm sure the hills get bigger each year or am I just getting older?
