In short: In a windy monsoon the support and marshals brilliant
In full: This is a tough halfwith nearly 1000m of climb in 3 big hills. The weather was as bad as it gets. But the, organization, marshalls and drink stations were top notch. friendly and helpfultea and coffee available nice and early pre race.. At one point a marshal was standing in a foot of water to guide the runners round a big pot hole. Well done Marlow loved it Must get fit next year.

In short: Nice course lots of changes and bends so never bored busy watching out for ballards.
In full: Managed to get a five novice lady runners to take the challenge and they loved it. Only one got caught in the hail and rain that arrived 2 plus hours after the start. The wind was no major problem as there were never any long stretches directly into the wind. But where was Nike! I expected the usual big new shoe model display and try stand. But nothing is it the crash? And sweatshop MK you really missed the chance to sell some kit

In short: a great half marathon, all hills runable final decent a fast thrill packed experience
In full: Loved this run, weather perfect unlike last time. We used it as a training run for Paris and London and had some real fun. Our crazy decent to the finish is what make off road a thrill packed adventure with a bit of danger. Oh! by the way we over took Sally Gummel on the way up. (she was jogging down with her dog)

In short: 2000ft of climb makes this worth doing.Nice start to the year
In full: Bitterly cold windy day but fairly sheltered for runners. Poor marshals had a hard day in the cold and wind. My thanks to them. Nice tough course well organised. Only minor problem bagage colection at end needs a few extra helpers.

In short: Great pre christmas run lots of support.
In full: Loved this run armosphere very Christmas with supporters in santa hats but what with the grim reaper marshal directing us into the wood on the last decent. very scary. A great run in fantastic weather but we had to leave and missed the results and presentation. Sorry!

In short: the ice cold weather as the final nail in the day oh for a hot drink.
In full: A great event as I cruised along for 8 miles or so in some nice friendly company thinking the grizzly is much harder than this. Then the brutal truth set in bog after bog 3 feet deep full of branches and the ocasional shark. The steep climbs turned into a impassible mud slide by the 400 runners. Must do it again just to check out how deep the mud really was. I am still getting it out of all sorts of places. I am sure Anne and Heather are up for it but we will try the Spring when its not so cold. I hope.

In short: The worst weather ever in 75 marathon todate including a few mountain marathons
In full: the first time I have ever been pysically unable to run against the sudden wind gusts that left myself and many others hanging on to the stone walls for suport. On the last decent blown over 3 times as I ran; I ended up walking down. The runners seemed to cross side to side of the narrow open to traffic roads for no logical reason; needs a prerace stonger briefing and marshalling before some one is run over.

In short: A great if tough marathonthe new off road bits a bit rough after the bad weather
In full: What a weekend. The sun swathed New Forest was the place to be and the marathon a truly great event. Run not by a running club but a commitee whose main function is to raise money for charity. They did a great job. So no goody bag! so what! The value of this race was the location, supporters, and the fantatic helpers.

In short: a great race with excellent facilities plus a free swim.
In full: Nice and shady through the woods the two lap can tempt the faint hearted to opt out. The changing facilities with great showers; why do a lot of people(males) just spray deoderant and miss the shower? The free swim in the out door pool for a nice cool down. Good job
