In short: Great spring half-marathon
In full: Nice, undulating course, good marshalling and crowd support along the route (despite bitterly cold weather) and very good organization make this race well worth turning up for. The only thing I would change is how water was served at drink stations: cups are not really the best for the event of this size, bottles please next year!

In short: Scenic scenery but lacks atmosphere
In full: Definitely very scenic course, mildly challenging hills. Organization was OK, can't fault it. However, would be nice to have at least few distance markers plus better marshal support, maybe have someone cheering at the top of the biggest hill? The race has a great potential but the organizers have to work on creating a better atmosphere on the course.

In short: Well done organizers, much improvment compared to last year
In full: Good, fairly fast course. First few miles are rather congested, and again a few narrow point towards the end of the race. Good organization, however I do agree with previous comments that getting from the bag drop area into the starting pen was a bit frustrating due to many spectators obstructing the way. Great weather this year, hardly no wind for a seaside race and good crowds made it worth a trip to Brighton. I think I'll be back next year.

In short: Brilliant race!
In full: Fantastic first race of the year! Good route, challenging, with varied terrain and some really stunning views. Can't give enough praise to this year's marshals, encouraging, friendly and helpful despite difficult weather conditions (snow and freezing temperatures). Also nice finishers t-shirt. Not to mention post-race log fire in the 'Roundhouse'. Great event overall!

In short: Fantastic event!
In full: One of my all-time favourite races! Great organization, friendly marshalls and fantastic atmosphere in Tywyn. The course is very challenging and the heat this year didn't help but I loved every minute of the race and will be definitely back next year!

In short: What a cracking race! Excellent organization and fantastic support from the oganizers, nice goody bag and t-shirt, medal and a trophy for all finishers, beautiful course and a great adventure.
In full: It was a first time for this new 24h challenge but the organizers get my top marks! The 4.2 mile lap was really scenic and well marked and I never got bored going round it. The support from the organizers was brilliant throughout the whole 24h and the award ceremony after the race when each of the finishers got a medal and a trophy was a lovely touch. Despite horrible weather my team had a cracking time and will be definitely back next year!

In short: Well organized (except for too few toilets) and well marshalled race. The scenery is nice albeit 4 laps around the lake are a little boring. Flat course, definitely a PB potential. Would do it again as a warm-up race before the spring marathon.

In short: It was my first race with obstacles and it was great fun. Will definitely do it again.
