In short: Potentially a great race but let down by poor organisation
In full: This race could be up there with the greats. The course is superb. Interesting scenary, a variety of surfaces, well thought out, tough yet fun with some characterful section (water filled tunnels). This year it was well marked too. However, I think due to lack of experience by the organisers, it really didn't hit the mark and I think they were unprepared for the big turn out. Car parking by marshals was poor (and far too limited), registration chaotic, no proper finishing strategy, prize structure non existant and no results available nearly a week later. Come on guys you could make this race ace!

In short: The FOD is a much nicer place to run than the road.
In full: Very well organised and great event base with plenty of loos, close parking and a party-like atmosphere at the end. Loved it.

In short: A well organised and innovative relay event in lovely countryside
In full: This fledgling 10 leg relay event visits 8 white horses in the scenic parts of the county. It's very well organised and has a friendly atmosphere. The website tells you all you need to know to just turn up on the day and run your leg. Hope it's back in 2012.

In short: Challenging but very rewarding
In full: Yes it's hilly... but not hugely. Quite a bit to climb between 1.5 and 3 miles, then some other minor ups further along. Nice part of the world to do a road run, good venue and very quiet roads.

In short: Superb value, ticks all the boxes for a club runner
In full: So many marshals (friendly and encouraging), great atmosphere at the end, magic goody bag - bottled water, medal, banana, lucozade sport and free technical t-shirt (great colour),will definitely do it next year - a major appointment on the 2011 calendar. Great value for money.

In short: Mud, sweat and tears (on the hills),
In full: A race of great character. A race in the same genre as: Sodbury Slog, Terminator, Slaughterford....but muddier and hillyer,
Very friendly, helpful officials and organiser. Well thought out. Some photos were up by the afternoon..... results could be quicker.
