In short: I thoroughly enjoyed it, particularly once I'd completed the hill the second time.
In full: Splendid. I tend to just run in races close to home, so wouldn't say I am vastly experienced, but I had a wonderful morning. Things I liked included welcoming email (from Lee I think), detailed website meant not in any doubt about anything and quite happy to pick up number on arrival...didn't know what the purple band in the envelope was for though....and then, enjoyable course, loved running through the woods, appreciated the keyboard in the tent - chariots of fire to be expected but uplifting nonetheless, and a different tune the second time round, wonderful marshals, kept thinking I should wave acknowledge them they were so encouraging, lovely top in the bag at the end which I shall wear. Have no complaints. Thank you very much.
