In short: Great organisation - lovely scenery - perfect day...
In full: I did the half as I had a lot of other things to do Saturday and entered last-minute. Weather was perfect, the ground firm but dry and the marshalls very positive and encouraging. After the noise and heat of the VLM it felt wonderful to be out in the country in very pretty surroundings. The aid stations were great and I'd certainly do the full 26.2 next year. Put a smile back on my face and credit must go to Dave of Hermes for ensuring that it was so friendly and nothing too much trouble. 10/10 !

In short: Excellent Race - Wonderful Marshalls and Organisation 10/10
In full: From arrival to departure a very well organised race. Would have been good to have a few more runners but this race was re-scheduled from January because of weather. Some hilly parts but the last four miles very fast and flat except the last half mile to the finish. Nice mix of good club runners and enthusiastic newbies to running - all very welcome ! Enjoyed it 100% especially the latter stages - leaves you with a very good feeling all-round. Marshalls were the most friendly ever - great advert for the club ! Gorgeous medal, tasty banana and a super morning out.

In short: Excellent all-round ! Faultless.
In full: Was not looking forward to it especially but once on the start line enthusiasm took over. Pace setters were amazing, route tough but not impossible, hills challenging but all part of the fun ! Lovely medal, very stylish, super goody bag and wonderful massage at the end for £10. Organisation faultless, marshalls superb ! I'd do it again this week if I could.

In short: very varried - lovely mix of on and off road - excellent Marshalls and really lovely medal !
In full: It's challenging but the scenery is very pretty although it was a bit muddy today. Well organised, great free Samosas (worth doing for that alone) and a wonderful medal at the end. Petts Wood runners made this a special event and deserve a lot of praise ! A top race.

In short: Tough but enjoyable !
In full: My first 10K - Not the easiest introduction to my first event but practice helped - the hills are a lot smaller when you have done them before! Well organised and a good mix of runners - will do again next year.
