Chicago this year, Sue. All a bit bittersweet: supposed to be with boyfriend, who is American and did his PhD there, but we have since separated. Still, best foot forward and I will still enjoy exploring the US for the first time!

DanA: rather you than me. Congratulations on only a dozen falls, by the sounds of things.
Wardi: I usually do the 18 week P&D but am playing around with things this time. Slightly derailed by doing a light 4 weeks ahead of the 12 week build-up due to injury/illness/life stress, but we shall see. It'll effectively be 10 hard-ish weeks and then a 2 week taper, which I reckon is enough to make real fitness gains (thankfully!). If it doesn't work, back to 18 weeks for VLM 2017.
Hello, thread. I've been AWOL for a week or so due to a combination of work, a few days away in France at a wedding and a bit of lurgy induced self-pity. Still, it looks like I'm on track to finally manage 6 sessions this week, which marks week 1 of my 12 week Chicago build up.
