GD: sorry, realised I didn't reply to your post. Yes, I had also seen that on FB, but I am right at the top of their age range and, realistically, couldn't take the time off work. Plus I'm not sure I'd be quite what they're looking for!
Been feeling really tired these last few days. Guess I have been burning the candle at both ends a bit... Need to force myself out for at least 10M today, though. Hopefully the fresh air will wake me up a bit!
Take it easy, Ryan. Better to let the body heal then get back into things gradually. You won't lose much fitness - if any - in a week.
21M yesterday evening after an orchestra rehearsal. I think I over-compensated for the conditions given Saturday's near-hypothermia, as I was in tights, long sleeved top, jacket, gloves and hat (more than I'd usually wear). Was properly roasted by the end. Pace a bit sluggish (8.09) but I guess it was the end of a big week (68M), I was a bit knackered, and conditions weren't great.
WS: yup, sounds awful. I'll trust you it tasted ok!
PMJ: wow, 12m/m is hard. I take some colleagues out for a run/walk and I really struggle to jog below 10m/m.
Welcome back, Lorenzo. I get to go to exciting places with work, too: Swindon, Plymouth...
Gul: rehearsals. Concert next week.
14M this morning. Abandoned the mile reps I had intended to do after 4 (idea was 6) because the wind was so strong that the pace was entirely meaningless and soul-destroying. Also got properly cold. It took 30 minutes to stop shivering once I was home!
