Do you know what the cut off date for GFA qualifying times is. I could only find information from previous years entry and it said the end of August. Do you know if this is the same date that proof of times need to be sent off for VLM 2011.

 Thanks for the help.

Warrington Road Runner, I'm glad you posted your feelings, as I feel much the same. It is strange how one person can bothered to put so much energy into posting about a race they have no intention of entering.

BR, maybe you could put all of your energy and expertese into organising this marathon in your area that you dream of? A friend of mine recently organised a half and it makes you realise how much time and effort goes into organising races.

I hope everybodies training has gone well and everyone is well prepared. I am very much looking forward to the day.

My last pair of shoes were Vomeros. Although they were extremely soft, I never really it a problem in relation to sore calves. I tend to get sore calves, regardless of the shoes I wear.

The problem I found with Vomeros, was that the soft soles fell to pieces within 4 months. I now wear New Balance and I find these to be far more comfortable and hardwearing.
