Blimey, i've picked the right time to come back to running, what a nostalgic thread, its as if the Darkside is still around.

Thanks all, thats summed it up all nicely!  My condolences to those of you who have experienced sad times.  Rarely do I get to London so i'll have to pass on the socials, but thanks for mentioning it.

 Glad to see the banter is still healthy round these parts.  Most other forums i've viewed seem to have posters whose sole mission in life is to be pedantic or picky, and I don't see that here. By the way Tri Taffia - it should be "There Dave", capital D.

About 4-5 years ago I was a regular on this site, then higher education and a growing family came calling, and something had to give, so sadly it was running.

I've dug out my old Nikes and are ready to go again, but I need to know what i've missed.  Is the darkside still going?  Are there still various Londoners meeting up at the St James Tavern?  Is that British 10k thing in London still despised by 99% of the people on here (if its still going!)?  Any guidance appreciated!
