thank you Lee! Round and round and round and round was good and bad I guess - loads of chances to see people, and no risk of getting lost, running out of food, etc - but not such nice views as something like the North or South Downs Way. |

Have been enjoying everyone's stories from Avon Tyrrell - well done to everyone for having the guts to give it a go, regardless of the outcome. Keep the race reports coming - very good to read! Sorry if it's a bit off topic, but alongside the double / triple /quin / deca people, I did the AT 100 ultra run - race report posted here if anyone is interested: http://www.tritalk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=86935 cheers! Hi So no luck getting into CCC, but can transfer to TDS. Anyone know how much more difficult TDS is vs. CCC? By the difference in cut-offs, I'm guessing TDS is a fair bit tougher... And any idea how they compare in terms of scenary / experience?. thanks for any advice D. |

Tigerspaw - saw your note about end of JCC - was that in 2010? And were you one of the final bunch who made it to the finish within the cut-off (people behind had to wait for an hour before being allowed to continue because of the fog)? If so, I wonder if I was one of the slightly dazed people you bumped into - ended up dropping down onto the beach a bit early and wading round some rocks! If so, sorry if I was a bit grumpy - was at the end of the Oner and was a bit tired of running (well, mostly walking for me) at that point. See you in 7 weeks or so! |

Ah . . . Portland at 2.00am in the fog - officially the most confusing place known to mankind to navigate your way around. Good luck with it NiceIronDad - the oner is an excellent event (which took me months to get over) |
