I hav'nt timed myself over 10 miles for ages. Infact I try not to time myself at all it makes me nervious for some reason. But I do sometimes time myself over 3 and 6 miles. Ladt time I did 3 miles in 20:20 and 6 miles at around 43 mins. Im still the same weight though. It just wont go.
Brought a pack of Wine Gums the other day and realised it's ramed packed with carbs, hardly anything else but carbs. Would eating a pack of Wine Gums before a race give you a great energy boost and improve your proformance.
Hello. I'm currently running 10k on a mainly flat road curcuit in around 45-46 minutes. Which I'm quite happy with bearing in mind I'm arround 2.5 stone overweight. Now I'm going to give the 8 week, 6-7 times aweek 10k training program ago. Would this dramaticly improve my times and by how much. And how much faster could I be if I lost that 2.5 stone. Some might look at this as a unanswerable question, but hey if you don't ask...

I understand that this Forum isn't full of medical experts, but I do hope that someone could help with this little question. I snore really bad, I mean REALLY BAD. And ive been told that this is probably because I have problems getting oxygen through my nose and mouth when breathing. I know that ive always had a problem breathing through my nose. So maybe I do have blockages in my mouth and nose ie tongsile problem. So would anyone think this could effect my running as getting loads of oxygen into the lungs as quickly as posible is inportant. Some might look at this as a daft question, but if anyone could help I would be very greatful.
