Just done this one too for the third year running got 1.51.22, so really pleased, but I am more impressed with Noel, well done, I am doing the British 10k too and hope to break the magical 50 mins, I feel some speed training coming on. The medals have improved greatly since the first year we only got a certificate, but I do think they should have water at the beginning as well.
Plenty of toilets though and a new improved route round the park.

I have decided to become obsessed, I am going to take my older children out running with me, for the short fast runs, or down to the track,( I can class that as babysitting), and I won't have the guilt. I am also going to make better use of the light mornings and run before everyone else is up. I will beat 4 hrs . I will beat 4 hrs legs 11 you don't have to give up
running to have children I took up running after having children to have some me time.
I think actually you have to make time to run not try and fit it in!

hi all

Billie I have the same problem, would love to do sub 4 at Chicago in October as I managed 4hrs 10 mins at FLM but my hubby and 4 kids are not that keen on the expense and on me having a weekend holiday on my own, keep trying. I am trying to get a babysitter daft enough to have my kids for 5 days while I whisk my husband off for a romantic long weekend in Chicago (with a marathon on the Sunday morning) If not I will have to try the FLM next year, but I feel so close to 4hrs now and next year I will be a year older!
